晨光里随想

清晨的HERITAGE lake。

阳光洒落在小路两侧的灌木上，一片金黄。
在温暖的，秋日的阳光里慢跑是周末最惬意的时候。小路弯曲起伏，阳光也时有时无；随着日头的升高，光线越来越充足，直至整条小路沐浴在金色里。这使我感觉到那在高天之上的造物主正在微笑地看着地上这个小人儿，Enjoy 祂的完美的创造。

信仰是自由經濟、民主政治的前提

德國南部鄉下美麗如畫。在蔓延起伏的原野中，在滿目翠綠的草地上，在一片片深綠色的樹林和藍色的河流之間，不時浮現出的一座座小鎮，幾乎全部是白墻紅頂，遠遠望去，如一簇簇花叢。驅車經過，整齊幹凈，古老典雅，窗前庭院裏綴滿花木。最觸動我心的是每一座小鎮的中央，都有一座小教堂，矗著一個高高的十字架，算是全鎮的最高建築物。我仿佛看到過去的歲月裏，鎮上的人們魚貫進入教堂，虔誠地祈禱，彼此祝福，聆聽一位牧師的講道。一家一戶遭遇難處，也會到教堂來找牧師，祈求上帝排憂解難。我想象著，這位牧師一生住在教堂裏，一生默默無聞地服侍這一小鎮上的人們，直到安息在上帝懷裏，他的屍骨被埋在教堂後院，仿佛依然陪伴著他服侍了一生的鄉親們。想到這裏，我的心就飛向中國，飛向我生長的小村莊。我就盼望著，如果我們的每個村子也都有一個教堂，也都有一位仆人，也都有一份虔敬，也有都一個心靈的驛站，那該多好啊！那一刻我感覺這不是夢想，這是真的，就在明天。

Stay hungry, Stay foolish_Steve Jobs in Stanford

Steve Jobs, the late Apple co-founder being called the Thomas Edison of his time, revealed in a commencement speech at Stanford University in 2005 why he dropped out of college — and why he thought it was one of the best things he ever did. Yet he had other advice for the students.
Jobs, whose death at the age of 56 was announced Wednesday night, started that speech by telling about being adopted as a baby, and why, 17 years later, he attended Reed College in Oregon for only six months before dropping out. He said:

Thanksgiving History

Thanksgiving Day is a holiday celebrated primarily in the United States and Canada. Thanksgiving is celebrated each year on the second Monday of October in Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States. Thanksgiving in Canada falls on the same day as Columbus Day in the United States. Because of the longstanding traditions of the holiday, the celebration often extends to the weekend that falls closest to the day it is celebrated.
