今天是圣诞节的第二天，早晨起来像往常一样，冲一杯咖啡，然后坐在宽大的玻璃窗前写我的BLOG。很喜欢现在居住的这个COMMUNITY，安静，祥和，浓密，高大的树木覆盖下，更能感受到一种神所赐的平安。因为大多是松树，即使在寒冷的冬天，也不能阻挡那洋溢着生命的绿色。

日式照烧鸡腿饭

“感动"之我见

教会里，我们常听到＂感动＂这个词。简单讲就是神的声音。

以我的理解，一个信徒，如果听到神的声音，就不问原由地去行，就称为凭信心行事。这对我们是最难的，我们称之为盲从，迷信，或是走火入魔。其实，我们当初对毛泽东的崇拜不就是如此吗？林副统帅说：毛泽东主席的话，一句顶一万句；理解的要执行；不理解的也要执行，并在执行中加深理解。为什么我们能“盲从”毛泽东这个人，却不能凭信心相信主耶稣这个神呢？

什么是＂感动＂

在教会里，我们常听到＂感动＂这个词。简单讲就是神的声音。我理解，一个信徒，如果听到神的声音，就不问原由地去行，就称为凭信心行事；如果听到神的声音，但要搞清楚为什么神要自己这样做以后，才去行，就是信心不足；如果听不到神的声音就去行，就是凭血气行。如此，就会有人这样问：＂我没听到神的声音，但是牧师要我去做，我该怎么办？＂THE ANSWER IS：＂神要做的事，难道神不会为他的仆人开路吗？难道神事情太多，忙不过来吗？＂

戈登对李鸿章的二十条赠言

华人皆我故友，故将我之意见告诸中国官员，望中国照办，庶几中外相安。我之意见或不足取，但系为好起见，无非爱护中国之心。兹将管见各条开列于后：

一、凡中国与外国议约，须在中国商议，因中国官员若往外国，易于受蒙，必致失其本心，终于获罪。

戈登之死

查尔斯-乔治-戈登是在中国近代史上很活跃的一个英国人，上海的江宁路在解放前被称为戈登路。戈登在中国期间的主要活动，是于1863年起领导外籍武装－洋枪队（也称“常胜军”），参与了清政府对太平天国的镇压，因功受清廷嘉奖。这或许也是其个人一生最辉煌的一页。在以前的小学课本里，有一篇文章《少年时代》，写道：戈登“搓着沾满鲜血的双手，套上清廷赏赐的黄马褂”。戈登死于苏丹人民的长矛下。1964年1月27日至30日，周总理访苏丹时，说感谢苏丹人民为中国人报仇。2004年1月，李肇星外长访问苏丹，又说欠苏丹一个情。一个戈登，中国还苏丹人情就还了半个世纪。

在《曾国藩》书中，戈登曾力阻李鸿章苏州杀降，表现出强烈的军人荣誉感。戈登是基督徒，非常虔诚的那一种。基督教带给近代中国的就是血和泪，换到戈登身上也差不太多。当中国人被这个基督徒当野蛮人看的时候，戈登参加火烧中国的万园之园一点也不手软。1860年，戈登参与八国联军进攻北京并直接指挥了圆明园的大烧杀、大抢掠。

Thinking from Hunting monkeys

Have you ever heard how hunters used to trap monkeys? The hunters would fill a lage barrel with bananas and then cut a small hole in the side of it, just barely big enough for the monkey to get his hand and arm through. The monkey, completely unaware of the trap, would reach his arm into the barrel and grab one of those bananas. But when he tried to pull his arm out, he couldn't get his clenched fist and the banana back out of the hole. The monkey wanted that banana so badly that he wouldn't release it. Consequently, the hunters would easily capture the monkey. It's interesting that at any point prior to the capture, the monkey could have simply let go of the banana and pulled his hand out of the barrel, but he was so focused on what he wanted that he didn't even realized he was in a trap!
Many people live like that today-with both hands clenched, so focused on tring to hold on to what they have that they don't realized it is robbing them of the freedom and victory God has in store.

Shut off the heating element for your water tank. If you have an electric water heater, turn off the breaker at the main panel. If it's a gas heater, turn the thermostat to the "pilot" setting.

Turn off the cold water supply to your tank. You probably have a shut-off right at the tank (on a copper pipe running into the top of the tank), but you may need to turn off the main water supply to your house.

Attach a garden hose to the bottom drain valve on your water tank and run the hose to a drain.

Turn on a hot water faucet in your home (this will make sure a vacuum doesn't form in the lines).

Return to the tank and open the drain valve near the bottom of the tank. (The valve on the side of the tank, near the top, is a pressure relief valve. Leave it alone.)

Check the color of the water coming out of the tank. At first it will likely be rusty or dark, but after a few gallons have drained, it should become clear.

Close the drain valve on the tank when the water runs clear, then turn off the hot water tap in your home.

Turn the cold water supply back on and allow the tank to fill.

Turn the power or the gas supply back on once the tank has filled with water.

狮子分肉记

狮子让一只豹子管理10只狼，并给他们分发食物。
豹子领到肉之后，把肉平均分成了11份，自己要了一份，其他给了10只狼。

一個印度智者的故事
